Metropolitan Youth Symphony educates, develops and promotes young musicians. We enroll over 500 youth, ages 5-18, from the Greater Portland Metro area and SW Washington, in 12 orchestra, band and jazz ensembles each year. MYS is one of the largest youth music organizations in the country and one of the few offering a jazz program. MYS's strong financial aid program ensures that all interested musicians have an opportunity to join MYS, regardless of their financial circumstances.

The Mid-Valley Literacy Center was formed as a 501(c) (3) non-profit in June of 2009. Our mission is to empower adults with the literacy skills needed to increase economic stability and overall quality of family life. We train volunteer tutors who provide literacy services to adults in the following areas: Preparation for GED in English and Spanish, Medical Literacy (CNA), U.S. Citizenship, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Computer Basics, and Spanish Literacy (INEA).

The Mittleman Jewish Community Center (MJCC) has been a vital part of the greater Portland community for over 100 years. Montavilla Jazz Festival (MJF) supports local culture by highlighting the freshest, most exciting original compositions from Portland’s vibrant jazz scene. The 2018 MJF will host 12 performances over two days. All the resources needed to present MJF are raised via sponsors and in kind contributions. Because of this, MJF is able to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Montavilla Schools Music Fund, which funds music education programs.

The Motet Singers is a 10- to 12-voice women’s a cappella vocal ensemble based in Eugene, Oregon. The group performs a wide variety of repertoire, including Renaissance sacred and secular pieces, medieval chant, contemporary motets, international carols, folk and world music, and light jazz and popular songs. Mount Pisgah Arboretum is a 209-acre nature education facility where visitors can explore the ecology of the southern Willamette Valley in the course of an afternoon on our seven miles of family-friendly trails. The Arboretum is a treasured community resource located within a 2,300-acre Lane County park. We welcome 400,000 visits each year and provide nature education programs and events that serve 11,000 children and adults.

Mt Hood Museum's extensive artifact and photo collections encompass local and natural history, winter and mountain sports, Barlow Road and Steiner Cabins, as well as the Mt Hood National Forest. The Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum (MHCCM) is located in the beautiful mountain village of Government Camp in Oregon. Its mission statement reads, “The Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum strengthens community, fosters arts and letters, and protects, stabilizes and showcases all aspects of the history of Mount Hood. With interpretive exhibits, educational programming, and the arts, the Museum promotes an understanding of our shared history and challenges for our future.” The Museum includes early exploration, pioneer history, natural history, forestry and the rich history of mountaineering, skiing, and the remarkable individuals that helped shape the history of the mountain. From its origin in 1923 with 15 women who shared an interest in national heritage and love of country, the Oregon Society has grown to 130 members dedicated to historical preservation, education, and patriotic services. We own and operate the Hoover-Minthorn House Museum in Newberg, OR, the only Presidential Home in the Northwest, as well as offer scholarships to our Washington D.C. Workshop, events for the Oregon National Guard and their families and other activities.

The Native Arts and Cultures Foundation (NACF) advances equity and cultural knowledge, focusing on the power of arts and collaboration to strengthen Native communities and promote positive social change with American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native peoples in the United States. Neskowin Chamber Music was started in 1993, and is still going strong. Seven concerts are presented during the season beginning in October and ending in May. Performers are world-renowned, coming from all parts of the world. Performances are held at Winema Chapel just north of Neskowin. The 2016-17 season will include: Eden-Stell Guitar Duo, Delphi Piano Trio, Enso String Quartet, Borealis Winds, Tom Gallant (oboe) and Adaskin String Trio, Albert Kim, pianist, and Hermitage Piano Trio.

FOOLS HAVEN Theatrix is the Resident Shakespeare Company at the Wildish Theater in Springfield, Oregon. The company also stages new and rare works, and offers acting workshops for all ages.
Director Judith Roberts developed the unique style, combining animated acting with mixed arts. Each show involves a consortium of artists in Oregon and abroad.

The North Coast Symphonic Band has been performing in Clatsop County since 1980. The NCSB represents community music at its finest providing local musicians with an outlet for their talents and local audiences with affordable entertainment. The NCSB performs four concerts per year at the Liberty Theater in Astoria. Ticket revenue does not cover expenditures but the donations make it possible for the band to continue presenting local live concert band music.

North Tillamook Library was built in 1987 and is a unique public-private partnership between an all-volunteer non-profit board and the Tillamook County Library. The Board maintains the buildings and grounds; TCL provides staff, media and programs. The Board receives no tax revenue. The NTL service territory includes Manzanita, Wheeler, Nehalem and surrounding rural communities. In 2016, NTL completed a major interior renovation to increase space for educational programs and technology use.
